It was super cheap, so, does the Smoovie really work? Actually, it kind of works like the big professional gimbal stabilizers: you need to learn how to balance it properly, which, depending on the weight of your smartphone, might need some do-it-yourself trickery. The idea is to transform your iPhone, or any smartphone or GoPro, into some sort of steadycam.
